Mobility audits are done in support of one-time planning studies, and can be quantitative or qualitative in nature. Usually two morning and two evening peak-demand periods are surveyed by one patrolling airplane. Photography is acquired of all congested locations, as well as designated sites photographed regardless of traffic conditions. Video is also acquired as requested by the client.

Later during analysis, insight is gleaned from the photography, and graphics are prepared which give clients a full appreciation of the nature of mobility and delay. Highlight photographs are also selected which illustrate the conditions most clearly. Then these materials are assembled into printed reports and interactive, web-based "SkyShows" by which users can access the full range of associated deliverables. (SkyShows can be used stand-alone to examine locations of particular importance, or used to gain a system-wide appreciation of entire networks operate as a system; they also serve as a source of photographs and graphics for user-produced PowerPoint slide shows.)
